  • Does my Insurance or Medicaid coverage pay for therapy?

    Insurance may cover the assessment and treatment sessions; however, please call to verify your individual coverage. Medicaid covers services at 100%.

  • I think my child needs therapy, how can I be sure?

    We offer phone consultations at all 7 of our locations. We will provide immediate feedback as to what therapies may benefit your child. Please call your location of choice below to book an appointment

  • What Insurances/ Medicaid policies do you all accept?

    Cole Pediatric Therapy will work with many commercial insurance providers on both an in-network and an out-of-network basis. We also accept Medicaid. If you have specific questions regarding your insurance, please call the location closest to you.

  • What if I do not have Insurance or Medicaid?

    Cole Pediatric Therapy also has a financial counselor that can discuss many options for you and your family.

  • I have to work all week and can't bring my child in. Do you have extended hours in the evening and on the weekends?

    We offer extended hours at various clinic locations. Please call to check individual clinic hours.

  • What professionals will be working with my child?

    At Cole Pediatric Therapy, we have more than 150 licensed therapists in the disciplines of Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy available to cater to the needs of your child. We work hard to pair children with a professional trained in specific therapy techniques.

  • My child already gets therapy at school. Would he or she benefit from additional therapy?

    At Cole Pediatric Therapy, we offer individualized, one-on-one therapy sessions that ensure full attention is focused on the child. Oftentimes the therapy received in an educational setting can vary from group treatments to shorter, individual treatments. At Cole Pediatric Therapy we use a medical model in the clinical setting. If your child receives therapy at school, we will work closely with their school therapist in order to work as a team to achieve success.

  • What are the various disorders do you treat?

    We work with a wide array of disorders and disabilities, some of which include (but are not limited to) Autism, Down Syndrome, Speech/Language Difficulties, Feeding and Swallowing Disorders, Hearing Impairments, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Spina Bifida, ADD/ADHD, Sensory Integration, Handwriting, Orthopedic Conditions, Traumatic Brain Injuries and much more.

  • How long will therapy take?

    There is no way to determine the answer to this question. The therapy process is dependent on the number of sessions needed, the type and severity of the disorder, any co-occurring disorders, compliance during therapy, and homework completion. All of these factors may affect the length of the therapy program.

  • Do you all offer Medical Social Work services?

    Yes, we do offer MSW services at our San Marcos location.  Please give us a call to inquire about additional locations.
