Ecuador Mission Trip Day 1: April 9, 2012

by Cole Pediatric

Hello from Ecuador, Cole friends and family!

We have arrived safely in Quito, Ecuador. We saw a beautiful answer to all of your prayers today—we were able to get ALL of the donated equipment onto the plane (2 suitcases full of sensory and fine motor materials, a stander, braces, a handheld massager, PECs, books, and 2 jogging strollers)! We want to give a *special* shout out to our San Marcos site for the AWESOME job they did filling TWO suitcases with sensory and fine motor materials. THANK YOU!

Christina Nguyen, Jessica Smart, Colleen Torres, Sara Moore, Terri Curtis, Pam Turner, Robin Vincent, and Merideth Ware.

Tomorrow we will drive from Quito to Shell. Tomorrow evening we will meet all the children at Casa de Fe orphanage and we will begin our testing. Please continue to keep us in your prayers for safe domestic travel as well as clear minds to complete thorough evaluations and treatment plans for the children. We will continue to share our progress as well as other pictures throughout the week.

Thank you for your support!
